MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Verizon Wireless is offering two free PDA (personal data assistant) and smartphone workshops for residents of the Roseville area this month. The complimentary classes will be held at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store located at 2325 Fairview Ave. N. on Sept. 16 and Sept. 27 from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
The popular class, “20 Things Your PDA Can Do For You,” is geared to help wireless phone users get the most out of their PDAs by learning about its functions and features. Some of the topics covered include text messaging, address book synchronization, email, Internet browsing, setting up speed dial, camera use, pairing Bluetooth devices and changing ringtones.
The free, in-store classes are open to Verizon Wireless customers and other PDA users (all brands/models welcome). The events fill up quickly and seating is limited. Individuals who do not yet have a PDA or smartphone but would like to learn more about these devices are welcome to attend a class.
