SAN FRANCISCO, CA, and BASKING RIDGE, NJ — From CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2008 in San Francisco, Verizon Wireless, builder and operator of the nation's most reliable wireless voice and data network, today announced it is bringing some of the best content available from Warner Bros. Entertainment to its V CAST Video service. Fans of Batman, Wonder Woman and classic cartoons from Hanna Barbera that include "Scooby-Doo" and "The Flintstones" will be able to view a wide range of clips across two recently launched channels — DC Comics and Scooby-Doo & Friends.

The DC Comics Channel brings legendary DC Super Heroes such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to people on-the-go. Fans can view the hit "Batman: Mad Love" Motion Comic; "DC Universe," a series of original, animated movies, including "Batman Gotham Knight," "Superman Doomsday" and "Justice League;" as well as action-packed clips from Warner Bros. Pictures releases featuring DC Comics heroes, including "The Dark Knight," "Superman" and "Batman Begins." Comic book fans will always have something exciting to watch as new content is added on a weekly basis.

V CAST customers can also watch video on the recently added Scooby-Doo & Friends Channel. Bringing decades of side-splitting Saturday morning cartoons to Verizon Wireless customers, Scooby-Doo & Friends Channel brings a wide variety of clips per week for fans to view that come from legendary shows, including "Scooby-Doo" and all the other great Hanna Barbera cartoons such as "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," "Tom and Jerry" and "Yogi Bear." The shows are refreshed weekly and offer hours of laugh-out-loud viewing pleasure.

Verizon Wireless is committed to delivering a variety of V CAST Video programming to meet ongoing customer demand for news, sports, weather and entertainment while on-the-go. In the first half of 2008, Verizon Wireless customers downloaded more than 71 million video clips and songs from the company's V CAST Video and Music services. With the addition of DC Comics and Scooby-Doo & Friends, Verizon Wireless is able to offer a broader line-up of content on V CAST Video to help satisfy the mobile cravings of Verizon Wireless customers.

The DC Comics Channel can be found in the Hollywood section while Scooby-Doo & Friends can be found in the Kids section of V CAST Video. Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription, which also includes access to Verizon Wireless' ESPN MVP, Get It Now® and Mobile Web services. Customers get unlimited basic video — including DC Comics and Scooby-Doo & Friends Channels — but application download fees may apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime or megabyte charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content with any V CAST subscription.
