In support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Verizon Wireless is presenting the Clothesline project to the city of Mobile. The Clothesline Project gives local victims of domestic violence a chance to break their silence and encourages others to get help. Shirts decorated by the victims contain powerful messages of abuse, survival and a chance at a new life. They will be displayed at different venues in Mobile during the month of October.

Oct. 1— Oct 31: Government Plaza Atrium
Oct. 10: LoDa ArtWalk in Downtown Mobile 6 p.m. — 9 p.m.
Oct. 11 — Oct 31: Cathedral Square Gallery, Dauphin Street, Downtown Mobile
Oct. 15: Bienville Square for Brownbag in Bienville 11:30 a.m. — 1:30 p.m.

To help victims of domestic violence break their silence and encourage others to get help.
