Anthony Williams, age 6, of Newark, NJ, received a Safe Kids ID card from McGruff and Daniel Mariano of Verizon Wireless last weekend at the company’s new Communications Store on Broad Street in Newark. Trained professionals were on site to fingerprint and digitally photograph children. Parents received multiple ID cards to take home as well as DNA Self Collection Kits and McGruff Jr. Crimefighter Sticker Badges for the kids. The new video, “No, Not Me, Not Ever,” was on display to teach children important safety tips. The program, free of charge to families, will be offered again on March 28 from noon to 4 p.m. at the company’s newest Communications Store located at 93 Washington Street in Hoboken.
