Customers can also take advantage of several offers including:

  • Any Samsung phone $49.99 or less is FREE with new two-year activation (available Sept. 11-13)

In addition, Verizon Wireless will launch its HopeLine® Recycling Program. HopeLine® collects no longer used wireless phones and accessories from any carrier. All phones donated to HopeLine that can be refurbished are sold for reuse and those that are not salvageable are recycled in an environmentally sound way under a zero landfill policy. Proceeds from HopeLine are used to provide wireless phones to survivors of domestic violence who are rebuilding their lives or cash grants to local shelters and non-profit organizations that focus on domestic violence prevention and awareness.

Since the program's inception in 2001 Verizon Wireless has collected more than 6 million phones, awarded nearly $7 million in cash grants to domestic violence agencies and distributed more than 76,000 phones and 228 million minutes of free wireless service to be used by victims of domestic violence.

"We are excited about our expansion in Northwest Louisiana," said Frank Antonacci, region president for Verizon Wireless. "Verizon Wireless is committed to the communities where we live and work. We look forward to providing customers with the best products and services at a great value."
