BASKING RIDGE, NJ and SAN DIEGO, CA — From CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009 in San Diego, Verizon Wireless and Axesstel, Inc. (OTCBB: AXST), a leader in the design and development of fixed wireless voice and broadband data products, announced that Axesstel’s MV440 CDMA 1xEV-DO Rev. A Wi-Fi Gateway has been approved to run on the most reliable 3G data network in the United States through Verizon Wireless’ open development program. Axesstel’s gateway combines a 3G WWAN modem, Wi-Fi WLAN router and a four-port Ethernet switch to enable multiple users with high-speed access to e-mail, the Internet, data intensive files and multimedia streaming in one easy to use, plug-and-play desktop networking device.
