WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Sacramento Kings and Verizon Wireless invite fans to go ‘green’ and help curb domestic violence in the community.

Fans attending the Kings home game against the Utah Jazz on Friday, Feb. 26, can donate their used wireless phones and accessories to the Verizon Wireless HopeLine® phone recycling program. Drop boxes will be located near the box office and on the concourse.

“Our partnership with Verizon Wireless and the HopeLine program allows Kings fans multiple ways to make a positive impact in our community,” said Jaime Morse Mills, director of Public Relations for the Sacramento Kings.

“Kings fans – or anyone who wants to do something good for domestic violence survivors and the environment – can make a difference in their communities,” said Kevin Zavaglia, Verizon Wireless region president. “Every phone counts.”
