INDEPENDENCE, OH — Verizon Wireless has named Melissa Zajacz of Brunswick, Ohio, to the company’s prestigious President’s Cabinet.

Zajacz, based in Independence, is a business account executive for the Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region’s sales team. She demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in 2009 by providing customers in the area with outstanding service related to company products and service plans. Zajacz earned the award by meeting several criteria, including being ranked in the top 1 percent in 2009 sales, placing her as one of the company’s top performers among its more than 25,000 Verizon Wireless sales people.

Zajacz has been with the company for three years and is a graduate of Valley Forge High School in Parma, Ohio, and Cleveland State University.
