All Verizon Wireless contract customers can use their existing phones and smartphones to make calls while visiting 40 countries, including Mexico, Canada, China and India.

Verizon Wireless also offers a wide selection of global devices that enable customers to make phone calls and send and receive text messages in more than 220 countries and destinations and access data services in more than 200 countries and destinations worldwide.

In addition, occasional travelers who do not have global-capable devices can use the Global Travel Program, which allows customers to borrow global-capable devices for the duration of their travels.
