BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Verizon Wireless continues showing the love to customers this Valentine’s Day with recent enhancements to its 3G wireless network, the largest and most reliable in the nation, in additional cities, helping customers stay even more connected with their loved ones.

Verizon Wireless’ network enhancements make streaming video, browsing the Web, and downloading music quick and easy for customers who want to use their wireless devices to help make Valentine’s Day special. Verizon Wireless shared the love by announcing new cell sites in:

Additionally, 12 cell sites were activated in northern New Jersey, including Carteret, New Brunswick, Piscataway, Edgewater, Fair Lawn, Mahwah, Branchburg, Bound Brook, Fairfield, Montville, Montague and Howell, keeping residents connected to e-mail, music and the mobile Web. These new sites will expand wireless coverage, increase data capacity, and boost network reliability as customers stay connected this week and all year long.

The company’s 3G broadband network carries data sessions for customers using the latest wireless devices and smartphones, including the new iPhone 4 from Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless’ network enhancements are part of the company’s aggressive annual network capital investment program to stay ahead of the growing demand for voice and data services. The company has invested more than $65 billion in its nationwide network since it was formed – $6 billion on average every year.
