KANSAS CITY, MO — Verizon Wireless has relocated its Blue Springs, Mo. store to 901 NE Coronado, Blue Springs, from its former location at 704 A NW Highway 7. The relocated Communications Store opens on April 26. The store offers consumers a high-tech, hands-on experience with wireless voice, data, music and video devices and services.
The 3,200-square-foot store features a new and highly interactive retail concept that is a departure from Verizon Wireless' traditional retail store design. Customers can pick up and try dozens of functioning wireless phones and experience on-demand access to millions of downloadable songs, Mobile TV, cutting-edge 3D games, short news, weather, sports and entertainment video clips. The store also features accessories such as Bluetooth headsets as well as laptops with wireless modems and air cards, and interactive television screens.
"Residents in Blue Springs and surrounding areas now have much easier access to the exceptional products and services that Verizon Wireless customers deserve and expect," said Brendan Fallis, presidentKansas/Missouri Region, Verizon Wireless.
Nathan McKay will retain his role as store manager and will oversee 9 employees.
To celebrate the store's relocation and welcome new customers, Verizon Wireless will offer up to $25 off a 4G USB modem April 29 May 1. This offer requires a new two-year activation on a 4G Mobile Broadband plan with $50 monthly access for 5 GB (plus other charges)* or higher.
A radio live remote with KMXV-FM 93.3 is scheduled from 12 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 at the new store. Additionally, the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce and city officials will host a ribbon cutting at the store at 8:30 a.m. on April 28.
The new Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Blue Springs is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. 6 p.m. The store number is 816-220-1717.
