LUDINGTON, MI — Verizon Wireless announced that its Alltel customers in Ludington now have access to a full suite of Verizon Wireless’ innovative products and services through its company-owned store at 5495 W. U.S. Route 10.
The newly branded Verizon Wireless location now offers customers the full range of Verizon Wireless products and services. With this change, Alltel customers can purchase Verizon Wireless equipment and service, and activate new handsets at this location.
Verizon Wireless will waive its activation fee and Alltel’s early termination fee for eligible customers who receive a special notification in the mail with the details of this offer.
Alltel customers can continue to receive Alltel sales and service support on their existing Alltel accounts at the West U.S. Route 10 store until conversion to Verizon Wireless is completed. Additionally, existing Verizon Wireless customers can now be served at this newly converted Verizon Wireless location.
“At Verizon Wireless, we are committed to providing our customers with the best experience possible,” said Nick Buckner, manager of the Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Ludington. “We are confident that all customers will continue to enjoy the great products and services available through Verizon Wireless. We remain committed to building lasting relationships with each of them.”
Store hours for the Ludington location are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Verizon Wireless completed its purchase of Alltel in January 2009. Due to its legal obligations, Verizon Wireless was constrained from rebranding this market area until recently. Those restrictions have been lifted, and now customers in Ludington are free to Rule the Air.
