Two New Cell Sites Help Chandler, Arizona, Residents And Visitors Make More Calls And Connect To Text, E-Mail, The Web And More

CHANDLER, AZ — Wireless calling, text messaging and surfing the Web on the Verizon Wireless high-speed 3G network is now easier and faster in Chandler thanks to two new cell sites added in the second quarter.  The sites expand 3G wireless coverage and capacity in the area of Frye Road and Dobson Road; and along the Loop 202 Santan Freeway near the Chandler Municipal Airport.

The company’s ongoing network investment in Arizona now totals more than $1 billion, including $138 million in 2010.  Since the company was formed, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $65 billion – $6 billion on average every year – to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services.
