OLATHE, KS — Verizon Wireless has relocated its Olathe, Kan., store to 15239 W. 119th Street, Olathe from its former location next door. The relocated communications store opens tomorrow, August 26. The store offers consumers a high-tech, hands-on experience with wireless voice, data, music and video devices and services.
The new 3,500-square-foot store features a new and highly interactive retail concept that is a departure from Verizon Wireless’ traditional retail store design. Customers can pick up and try dozens of functioning wireless phones and experience on-demand access to millions of downloadable songs, Mobile TV, cutting-edge 3D games, short news, weather, sports and entertainment video clips. The store also features accessories such as Bluetooth® headsets as well as laptops with wireless modems and air cards, and interactive television screens.
“Residents in Olathe and surrounding areas now have much easier access to the exceptional products and services that Verizon Wireless customers deserve and expect,” said Brendan Fallis, president of the Kansas/Missouri region, Verizon Wireless.
Brett Diebolt will retain his role as store manager and will oversee 17 employees.
The new Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Olathe is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. The store number is 913-393-1285.
