MISSOULA, MT — Calling, downloading apps and surfing the web on the Verizon Wireless network is now easier and faster for residents and travelers across the Treasure State thanks to several new cell sites that improve coverage and capacity, including:

  • Billings – northeastern section of Billings and surrounding area
  • Bozeman – two sites improve coverage between Belgrade and Four Corners; also near I-90 between Belgrade and 7th Avenue exit
  • Gateway – Gallatin Valley and the canyon area towards Big Sky
  • Huntley – city of Huntley
  • Kalispell – south end of Kalispell, including along I-93 and old airport
  • Missoula – lower area of Miller Creek; also historic Fort Missoula and Larchmont Golf Course
  • Victor – town of Victor and a portion of the Bitterroot Valley near I-93

Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $251 million in its Montana network. Nationally, the company has invested more than $65 billion over that same period to increase the coverage and capacity of its network, and to add new services.

The network upgrades are part of the company’s ongoing investment to keep improving and strengthening the nation’s fastest and most reliable wireless network.
