Verizon Wireless To Launch 4G LTE Network In Nine New Hampshire Communities On December 15

MANCHESTER & NASHUA, NH — Verizon Wireless announced today it will bring the world’s first large-scale 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Greater Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire on December 15. Verizon Wireless customers with 4G LTE smartphones, laptop modems and mobile hotspots will be able to take advantage of speeds up to 10 times faster than the company’s 3G network. As of Nov. 17, Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network is available in 179 markets across the country and supports 16 4G LTE-enabled devices, including the new DROID RAZR™ by Motorola and HTC Rezound™.
The nine New Hampshire cities and towns to be covered by the December 15 4G LTE network launch include:
- Bedford
- Goffstown
- Hudson
- Litchfield
- Loudon
- Manchester
- Manchester-Boston Regional Airport
- Merrimack
- Nashua
- Pelham
