In response to Consumer Reports’ Naughty & Nice Holiday List, Verizon Wireless issued the following statement this week:

“Consumer Reports gets coal in its stocking this year for failing to recognize that:

  1. Verizon Wireless leads the wireless industry with a variety of consumer-friendly tools and options that help our customers monitor and manage their accounts and
  2. Verizon Wireless, in fact, helped lead the charge to create the new industry standards for customer usage alerts, most of which we currently meet or exceed.”
