Just in time for the holiday season, shoppers at select Verizon Wireless Communications Stores have enjoyed an added benefit of technology and innovation – the ability to replace traditional paper receipts with new online, digital receipts that can quickly and easily be viewed and printed at home. With the new option, customers receive an email notification of their transaction, with a link to where they can find receipts posted in their My Verizon accounts.
A growing number of customers have gladly accepted the option at more than 300 locations across the country. They took advantage of the newly redesigned “My Documents and Receipts” feature, available to all customers now through the My Verizon online account management tool. Other documents, including rebate forms (when applicable), are available also in printable format. All Verizon Wireless customers can register for My Verizon, where they can view and pay their bills and manage all aspects of their accounts in one place.
The innovative digital receipt and online feature creates a simple, convenient and secure experience for customers by providing them with complete digital access to their records. Verizon Wireless will offer the paperless option at its more than 2,000 U.S. retail locations in 2012. The company has replaced paper catalogues and printed material at all of its locations this past year with digital formats, providing access to product and service information using in-store kiosks, tablets and netbooks.
