The excitement of football never goes away – even after the Super Bowl.
With the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft (April 26-28), football fans are already getting into the action and bantering back and forth. Who will be drafted first? What does your team need – running backs, wide receivers or quarterbacks? Who will your team pick to fill that role? Where do you think that highly touted prospect will go? What do the experts think?
Verizon and the NFL give fans a great way to keep track of all this information and more through NFL Mobile. All rounds of the draft will be available live over the three days. Those on smartphones with NFL Mobile Premium can watch NFL Network and see all of the action broadcast live.
Fans will be able to access several cool features in NFL Mobile, including detailed prospect bios, stats and videos. Want to know how fast a prospect runs the 40-yard dash or how much can he bench press? Check out 2012 Scouting Combine results. It’s all there.
As the draft progresses, fans can see each pick, one by one, via the detailed draft tracker on the home screen. See which team is “On the Clock” along with a link to each team’s “Fan War Room” where fans can argue, speculate, predict and express their views on who was picked or who should be picked.
NFL Mobile also sends text alerts to fans letting them know who their favorite team selected, along with links to several blogs featuring well-known draft analysts.
So, download the application and join the action. It’s more fun to be in the game than sitting on the sidelines.
