Verizon Wireless Names Chris Lewter President Of Its Five-State Mountain Region

DENVER, CO — Verizon Wireless has appointed Chris Lewter regional president of its five-state Mountain Region which includes Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming. Lewter replaces Melanie Braidich who served as regional president for more than five years. Braidich was recently named to lead the company’s West Area Customer Service organization.

As regional president, Lewter will be based at the company’s regional headquarters near Denver and be responsible for the company’s sales, operations, financial performance and customer experience across the five-state region.

“Chris brings more than 13 years of experience in high-level business sales and marketing, customer service and operations management to the Mountain Region, and his track record of success makes him the right person to lead this dynamic region,” said Greg Haller, Verizon Wireless West Area president. 

Most recently, Lewter served as executive director – Area Business Marketing for the company’s Midwest Region based near Chicago. He has been named a President’s Cabinet winner during his career at Verizon Wireless, an honor reserved for those ranking in the top one percent in sales performance.

Lewter began his career with Verizon Wireless in 1999 and has held management assignments including Business Sales director, Data Solutions director and National Account manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University.  Lewter, along with his wife and three children, will relocate to the Denver metro area.
