COLUMBIA, MO — The Columbia Verizon Wireless store is teaming up with Blue Ridge Elementary School in Columbia to help members of their community get ready to go back-to-school. School supplies will be collected at the Columbia Verizon Wireless store, located in the Shoppes at Stadium shopping complex. The drive will be conducted August 10 – 12.

“We are so happy to be in a position to help local schools in communities throughout the state of Missouri,” said Brendan Fallis, president Kansas/Missouri region, Verizon Wireless. “Verizon Wireless is committed to the communities we all call home, and it’s always refreshing to see neighbors helping neighbors.”

As a token of appreciation for their donations, customers may receive a small gift while supplies last. At the Columbia Verizon Wireless store, a limited number of lawn seating tickets to an upcoming Jason Aldean concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Maryland Heights will be handed out to those who donate.

During the back-to-school drive, residents are encouraged to drop off supplies at the Columbia Verizon Wireless store, 303 North Stadium Boulevard in Columbia during regular business hours. Needed school supplies include:  packs of paper, packs of pens & pencils, notebooks, folders & 3-ring binders.
