Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network To Expand Across State Lines In The Kansas City, Missouri, Area

KANSAS CITY, MO — Verizon Wireless today announced that customers in the Kansas City area will be able to experience the speed and capabilities of America’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in more places when the company expands on Sept. 20.  With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can experience innovative technology in their everyday lives, through solutions such as HomeFusion^℠ Broadband, viewdini and more, all made possible by 4G LTE.

Verizon Wireless currently offers the nation’s largest 4G LTE network, covering more than 75 percent of the U.S. population in 371 markets across the United States.  The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is currently available within the city limits of Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas City, Kan., as well as the majority of neighboring towns and suburbs.  With the planned network expansion, residents in areas such as Louisburg, Kan., Bucyrus, Kan., Hillsdale, Kan., Cleveland, Mo., West Line, Mo., and Ectonville, Mo., as well as along Interstate 70 between Bonner Springs and Lawrence, Kan., will have access to the nation’s fastest 4G network, to surf the Web, stream live music and video, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.
