The demand for 3D devices and 3D content is creating a growing market. According to the International 3D Society, by 2016, more than 60 million 3D TVs will be sold in the United States alone, and the worldwide sales of 3D devices is forecasted to grow by 345 percent by 2019.

Having 3D content is one of the key drivers for the successful adoption of 3D in the home. To support this, A2Zlogix, a privately held company based in New Jersey, has created the 3D Mobile App, which has the unique ability to create 3D content quickly and easily.

Using the app, the conversion of images and video from 2D to 3D happens in the cloud, meaning those images can be accessed anywhere and at any time. Photos or video captured with a smartphone or tablet, or existing content, can be instantly converted into 3D to enjoy and share with friends using social media apps, including Instagram, Flickr, YouTube and Facebook.

At the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Verizon Innovation Program and A2Zlogix will demonstrate 3D Mobile at the Verizon booth (LVCC, South Hall, #31400).
