The Sundance Film Festival brings together filmmakers, actors and industry professionals to showcase new work from independent filmmakers. This year, the festival is integrating an array of social elements into the event, giving aspiring filmmakers from across the globe an inside look at the festival.

For mobile users, there’s the Sundance Film Festival 2013 app, which provides quick access to exclusive articles and information about the event.

Using a smartphone, along with a pervasive and fast 4G LTE network, movie enthusiasts can take part in all the excitement of Park City through multiple digital platforms. The Screening Room, a new YouTube channel, contains a selection of short films debuting at the festival for fans to enjoy year round. For those curious about the minds behind the movies, Sundance compiled short videos in a series called “Meet the Artists.”
