Verizon Smart Rewards is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a bang. As a thank-you to its customers, Verizon is holding a month-long anniversary celebration with special rewards program promotions.
Since the Smart Rewards program launched last July, Verizon customers have redeemed billions of points, saved tens of millions of dollars and enjoyed opportunities they might not have experienced otherwise.

Verizon Smart Rewards offers customers savings of up to 40 percent on brand-name merchandise from more than 200 well-known brands, with a lowest-price guarantee and free shipping (free shipping excludes gift cards). The program also includes over 300,000 free local shopping and dining offers, discounts on magazines, gift cards, car rentals and over 20,000 hotels.
Deals on Verizon-specific products and gift cards, as well as opportunities to win tickets to sporting events, are also a part of the Smart Rewards program. And points can be used for even greater savings through daily deals as well as auctions and sweepstakes, with new offers posted to the Smart Rewards catalogue every day.
Earning points is easy – and they add up fast. As a reminder, Verizon customers who sign up for Smart Rewards will find 10,000 points waiting for them after they register. Activities, including signing in to the My Verizon online account management tool, paying your monthly bill, and other transactions like using the Verizon Trade In program or choosing paperless billing, will earn you more points on an ongoing basis.
