In celebration of Yosemite National Park's upcoming 125th anniversary, Verizon customers can now experience 4G LTE service in the park’s iconic Yosemite Village. Verizon is the first and, to date, only wireless provider to offer visitors the ability to talk, text, surf the web and use their favorite apps at 4G LTE speeds. Verizon customers who frequent the park will be able to communicate with family and friends and share photos with ease.
Visitors can also explore more with the National Parks app, NPS Yosemite. With a reliable connection, visitors can download and use the app to help guide their stay. Guests can find and access information on all of Yosemite’s most popular sites and activities, and carry the information right in their back pocket — it’s like having a 24/7 tour guide.
In addition to 4G LTE service in Yosemite Village, Verizon also provides voice and 3G data service in the Crane Flat and Glacier Point sections of the park. Verizon’s voice service is also available inside the park at Tuolumne Meadows and Wawona.
Whether visitors are exploring the park’s famed Bridalveil Fall or the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome, Yosemite and Verizon have come together to provide the ultimate outdoor experience for all.
