Phone shattered during installation

This case is so stiff and tight that the back of the phone shattered during installation. I don't see any other reviews like this, so maybe it's just me - I'll mark this down as user error. However, beware and be careful when fitting cases to the glass backed iphone models. I've used many Otterbox products on other phones, for me and my kids, they are good products.

It’s just ok and for the price I was hoping to love it. The volume buttons don’t engage the actual buttons on the buttons phone very well, so that’s a struggle. I’ve dropped my phone a few times and it’s fine so it’s doing the job, but, meh…

I have veen using OtterBox cases for several years. I decided to downsize and get this thinner case as opposed to the Defender Series I’ve always used. I was a bit hesitant because it looks so thin and fragile, but I’ve dropped it a few times and it holds up! No damage to my phone, and I still have peace of mind thanks to this case.

Does this case fit the iPhone 8 well, or it a right fit or too big? Also, how durable is it actually? I drop my phone quite often so I want to have extra protection but also a clear back.

Does this case work with wireless charging for iPhone 8?

While this case is compatible with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, it should work to charge the iPhone 8 wirelessly. The wireless charging functionality will work as long as the case is not too thick. - Jenelle

do you need to purchase a separate screen protector for this case, or does it cover the whole phone?

That is a great question, beckyl123. This particular case covers the sides, top, and back of the phone, but does not cover the screen at all. I would recommend purchasing a screen protector for added protection, if you are concerned about the screen scratching. - Leonard

Will this case fit the 7 and 8 plus models? Being able to keep your phone protected is essential. While doing some research on the case, I was able to get you an answer. This case will work the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. But, it will not fit the iPhone 8 Plus.
