Register a new Smart Tag2 Tracker and get started with SmartThings Find.6 The intuitive tracking experience will allow you to track the things you love from the palm of your hand.
Search Nearby.
Switch on Search Nearby and get guided instructions to your items' location via Compass View.7 Or you can ring your tag and have the Smart Tag2 Tracker send out an audible signal.
¹ Requires Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets running Android 11.0 or later with 3GB or more of free RAM; user must opt in to the SmartThings Find app and be logged in to Samsung Account. Bluetooth range of up to 120m without obstacles; if Galaxy SmartTag2 is out of range, Galaxy Find Network will be used to track (Galaxy Find Network accuracy based on opt-in Galaxy users who are in range of the SmartTag)
² Consistent with IP67 rating, water resistant in up to 1M (3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Rinse residue / dry after wet.
³ Through the SmartThings app, allows 2 preset conditions at a time. A preset condition can be either an IoT device or a SmartThings routine.
4 Expected performance based on typical use with in-box CR2032 battery. Actual battery life may vary depending on different usage patterns, environmental conditions, the replacement battery manufacturer, and other factors.

Offer a true stand alone tag that doesn't allow or require Samsung device and account login 24-7.
You people raving about the "great price" need to keep your thoughts to yourself, never brag about prices from any item, didn't your parents teach you anything?
We don't need a gadget that tracks our every move via the tag and OUR PHONES we keep on us at all times. Samsung needs to get away from it's proprietary way off thinking by creating other devices that forever the user into buying more Samsung devices or they don't function!
Also note, Samsung refrigerators suck just the same, complete junk.
Beware Verizon, I'll immediately opt out and block the very first email I receive from Verizon "terms and conditions" who's service has become less than mediocre (at Best) over the past 5 years.

Used in brief case. Never located due to all the restrictions of use . Not at all like a AirTag or GPS tracker. Definitely waste of money and security

Love the SmartTag2 design and functionality. The UWB features are a massive upgrade. The order process was simple and I couldn't believe the price! I had been lookong at the previous versions of the tag, but these are far superior on performance and expense!

So ...if this is a Samsung Galaxy product, how is it that its not compatible with a Samsung Galaxy phone?

Galaxy SmartTag2, Samsung account log-in and registration on SmartThings Find is required. Galaxy SmartTag2 needs to be paired with ultra-wideband (UWB)-enabled Galaxy smartphones with Android 11 or higher to fully function ~Ivone

Why, when I search here for compatible devices I entered my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and there's no devices found. If I enter just Galaxy, still no devices found.
