Discounts for Florida Seniors - 55+ Unlimited Plan FAQs

With the 55+ Unlimited Plan, eligible Florida residents can get all the benefits of unlimited at a discounted rate, including unlimited talk, text and data.

To be eligible, you must meet these requirements:

• Be a new Verizon wireless customer
• Be 55 years old or older
• Have 1 or 2 phones on your account
• Have a Florida billing address on your account

Note: You can have a maximum of 2 phones on this plan but you can add up to 10 tablets and up to 25 connected devices (e.g., Hum, smartwatch, etc.) to your account. Mobile Hotspots (e.g., Jetpack®) aren't compatible with this plan.

*4G LTE / 5G: In times of congestion, your data may be temporarily slower than traffic. 5G access requires a 5G-capable device, which automatically connects when you're in a 5G coverage area.
**5G Ultra Wideband requires 5G Ultra Wideband capable device inside the 5G Ultra Wideband coverage area.
***Requires 4K HD video streaming-capable device and streaming service inside a 5G UW coverage area.

If you're new to Verizon: Once we verify your eligibility, you can sign up online and your account for 1 or 2 phones will be activated with the Unlimited plan for 55+.

If you already have Verizon service, you can call contact us or visit a Verizon store to verify your eligibility and get this plan.

No, we won't change your plan without your authorization. You'll need to request a change to your plan by clicking the Chat with us button at the bottom right corner of this page to contact one of our representatives or visiting a Verizon store.

If you qualify, we'll switch you to the 55+ Unlimited Plan.

When you first apply for service with Verizon, you provide your date of birth as part of the credit application. We use that information to verify age eligibility. The Account Owner must be 55+ years of age.

We use your billing address to verify your location eligibility.
