There are a couple of reasons this may occur:
- Operating system software issues. For help troubleshooting your device, use our online Troubleshooting Assistant.
- Having multiple devices powered on that are programmed with the same phone number.
If you have an old device powered on that used your current phone number, we suggest putting that device into airplane mode, which prevents it from connecting to the Verizon Wireless network, but still allows you to access some features on Wi-Fi.
