  1. What is Droid Turbo Screen Assurance?

    Droid Turbo Screen Assurance is a program that offers one free Certified Like-New Replacement device if you experience display damage within 2 years from the date of purchase on your new Droid Turbo by Motorola*.

    This one time replacement covers only a cracked display. If you have already received a replacement under this program or the device is found to have been subjected to other physical damage such as crushed or damaged housings, liquid damage, software or hardware alteration, it is not eligible for a replacement under this program.

    *The Screen Assurance program is not available for Droid Turbo in Blue Ballistic Nylon purchased at Best Buy.

  2. What is a "cracked display"?

    A cracked display refers to cracks to the outer glass/screen portion in the front of the device. Any damage that also includes a cracked housing, missing glass fragments or other significant structural damage to the housing does not qualify for the Droid Turbo Screen Assurance program. If you're unsure if your device meets the qualifications, you can visit a Verizon Wireless retail store to speak directly with a sales representative.

  3. How do I know if I'm eligible for Droid Turbo Screen Assurance?

    With your purchase of a Droid Turbo, you are automatically eligible for Droid Turbo Screen Assurance*. The one time free screen repair eligibility lasts for a period of 2 years from the date of your purchase.

    *The Screen Assurance program is not available for Droid Turbo in Blue Ballistic Nylon purchased at Best Buy.

  4. How do I make a claim for Droid Turbo Screen Assurance?

    To make your claim, you can either click the Chat with us button at the bottom right corner of this page to contact one of our representatives or visit a Verizon Wireless retail store to order your replacement device.

  5. Can I go to a store for a same-day replacement?

    No. You can start the claim process at our retail stores, but your Certified Like-New Replacement will be shipped to you. 

  6. Does the Droid Turbo Screen Assurance cover other damage to my phone?

    No. If your Droid Turbo has been subjected to neglect, misuse, liquid damage, software or hardware alteration or unreasonable wear and tear, it's not eligible for a replacement under this program.

    Note: Only return your device under Droid Turbo Screen Assurance if the damage is covered under this program. If the damage is not covered, you'll be charged up to the full value of the replacement device, which may be in excess of $500, even if you subscribe to an Equipment Protection program.   7. Does Droid Turbo Screen Assurance replace my device insurance?

    No. This program doesn't replace device insurance and only covers a one-time replacement for a cracked screen.

  8. Is Droid Turbo Screen Assurance valid on a device that has been previously replaced by insurance?

    Yes. The offer of one free display replacement* carries over to your replacement device if you haven't made a previous Droid Turbo Screen Assurance claim prior to the replacement of your device.

  9. Will I get my original device back once it's repaired?

    No, when you submit a claim, you'll be provided with a Certified Like-New Replacement device. Once your original device has been shipped to us, it won't be returned to you.

    Before returning your device to us, be sure to back up your phone's content with Verizon Cloud. You can easily transfer your content through the pre-installed Motorola Migrate app once you receive your Certified Like-New Replacement.

  10. Why are Verizon and Motorola offering a Droid Turbo screen replacement? Is there something wrong with the screen?

    No. The Droid Turbo Screen Assurance* program simply provides additional peace of mind for Droid Turbo customers at no additional cost.
