With many of Verizon's international CDMA partners retiring their CDMA networks in favor of GSM and LTE technologies, CDMA roaming is no longer available for Verizon’s customers traveling outside of the US, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. CDMA-Only (non-GSM) devices will no longer work when traveling outside of these areas.
For your future international travel needs, a 4G or 3G World device is required. World devices can be used in the US as well as in more than 220 other countries using available GSM and LTE technologies.
