  2. Which Apple devices can get iOS 12?

    iOS 12 is available for:

    • iPhone 5s and newer
    • iPad mini™ 2 and newer
    • iPad 9.7-inch
    • iPad Pro™ (all models)
    • iPad 5th generation and newer
    • iPad Air™ and iPad Air 2

    Not sure which model you have? Here's how to figure it out on your iPhone or iPad, or you can look for it on your device:

    1. Tap Settings.
    2. Tap General.
    3. Tap About.
    4. Swipe up and tap Model.
  3. How do I update iOS on my iPhone or iPad?

    There are 2 ways to update iOS on your device.

    Over Wi-Fi:

    1. Tap the Settings icon.
    2. Tap General.
    3. Tap Software Update and follow any onscreen prompts to update.

    Note: Make sure your device has a strong Wi-Fi connection.

    Through iTunes® on your computer:

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC or Mac®.
    2. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.
    3. iTunes will ask if you'd like to update iOS. Follow the onscreen prompts to update.

    You've successfully updated your device.

  4. I forgot my Apple ID, now what?

    Apple Support has instructions on how to reset or recover your Apple ID password, or unlock your account.

  5. Will updating iOS affect my Verizon Wireless account or service?

    No, there's no impact to your Verizon Wireless account or service.

  6. Does Verizon Wireless offer Wi-Fi calling on iOS?
