  3. Setting when to fetch new email

    Note Fetch New Data is a feature that allows the user to select how often the device checks for new email. Push is a feature that's only available with certain email accounts that automatically push email to the device.

    Caution Push requires more power and may have an effect on battery life.

    2. Tap Fetch New Data.
    3. Tap the Push switch to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
    4. Select an email account.

      Note To install apps, you must sign in with your Apple ID or create one.

    2. From the Accounts section, tap the corporate email account.
    3. Tap the following switches to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off:

    5. Select the number of mail days to sync then tap Back icon Exchange (located in the upper-left) to return to the previous screen.

    2. Select the appropriate account or inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, etc).
      Note If applicable, tap the Back arrow Back arrow (located in the upper-left) to access the Mailboxes screen.
    3. Tap the email message.
    4. View the email message.

  11. Reply to an email

    1. From the Home screen, tap Mail.
    2. Select the appropriate email account/inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, Yahoo!, etc).
    3. Tap the email message.
    4. Tap the Arrow icon (located at the bottom).
    5. Tap Reply.
    6. Edit the subject, enter a message then tap Send.

  12. Forward an email

    1. From the Home screen, tap Mail.
    2. Select the appropriate email account/inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, Yahoo, etc).
    3. Select the email message.
    4. Tap the arrow icon (located at the bottom).
    5. Tap Forward.
    6. Enter the email address(s) in the To field.
    7. To send to a contact, tape plus symbol.
    8. Select the contact.
      Note To add additional contacts, repeat steps 7 and 8.
    9. Edit the subject and enter a message then tap Send.

  13. Delete an email

    1. From the Home screen, tap Mail Email icon.
    2. Select the appropriate email account/inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, Yahoo, etc).
    3. Tap Edit (located in the upper-right).
    4. Tap the message(s).
      Note Message is marked for deletion when the radio button Email selected icon contains a check mark.
      Note To delete multiple messages, tap the radio button next to each message you want to delete.
    5. Tap Trash (located at the bottom).
      Note If "Trash" is not an option, tap Move then tap Trash.

  14. Remove an email account

    Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.

    1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings Icon > Mail > Accounts.
    2. From the Accounts section, tap an email account.
    3. Tap Delete Account.
    4. To confirm, tap Delete from My iPhone.
