Move Music Files to Device - Brigadier™ by Kyocera

This helps you move or transfer music between your device and a computer/PC.

Caution Only DRM free or unprotected music can be transferred via this method.

Note Notes:

 

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the Status bar (area at the top of the phone screen with the time, signal strength, etc.) then drag to the bottom.
      Note The image below is merely an example.

    2. Tap the USB icon USB icon then tap Media sync mode.
  2. From the computer, launch File Explorer, Windows Explorer, or Finder (Macintosh).
    Note For File Explorer or Windows Explorer, press the Windows+E ( windows key logo+E) keys using the computer keyboard.
    Note For Finder, click the Finder icon located on the dock.
  3. From File/Windows Explorer or Finder, click Removable Disk (X:).
    Note Multiple Removable Disk drives will appear. One drive represents the device's Internal memory and the other drive represents the SD memory card. The drive letters may vary.
  4. Create a new music folder in the desired Removable disk drive (Internal or SD Memory).
  5. Utilize the computer to copy music and other audio files into the newly created folder.
    Note For any accompanying artwork in JPEG format, rename the art file albumart.jpg and copy into the same folder as the music files.
  6. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created music folder and copy desired music files into it.
  7. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
