View Battery Status - HTC One® remix

Note Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.

 

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Settings.
    Note If unavailable, tap the dropdown menu Apps dropdown menu icon (located in the upper left) then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  3. From the DEVICE section, tap Power.
  4. Review the current battery status.
    Note The battery graph is displaying the time since it was last charged to 100%.
    Discharging or Not charging
    Device is not charging.
    USB
    Charges at a slower rate.
    AC
    Charges at a standard rate, (preferred method).
  5. Tap Usage to view the battery usage details (e.g., Wi-Fi, Android OS, Phone, etc.).
  6. Tap Back (located in the upper left).
  7. Tap History to view the following battery information:
    • Battery usage line graph
      • Displays basic battery discharge/charge since the last full charge.
    • Mobile network signal
      Note Signal strength affects battery life.
      Green Very good signal
      Gray Good signal
      Gold Poor to moderate signal
      Yellow No Signal
      Red Scanning for signal
      Black Radio is off
    • Wi-Fi, Awake, Screen on and Charging
      Wi-Fi
      Wi-Fi radio is on/off.
      Awake
      Running tasks/apps (screen may not be on)
      Screen on
      Screen is visible (not in standby)
      Charging
      Indicates when the device is being charged
      Note Shows periods of partial charging since the last complete charge.
      Blue On
      Black Off
