Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network - DROID Mini / DROID Ultra / DROID Maxx by Motorola

Note Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network administrator for assistance.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Applications icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (located in the upper-right) is turned on On indicator.
  5. Tap Add Network (located at the bottom).
  6. From the Network SSID field, enter the appropriate name.
  7. From the Security field, tap the dropdown menu Drop down menu icon (located to the right).
  8. Tap the appropriate security option:
    Note If using an Open network (None), skip to step 10.
    • None
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2 PSK
    • 802.1x EAP
  9. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
    Note To view the password as it is being entered, tap Show password (enabled when a check mark is present).
  10. Ensure additional settings (e.g. EAP method, Phase 2 authentication, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then tap Save (located in the lower right).
