Common Camera Settings - HTC One® remix

  • This device features a Duo Camera system with 3D effects and Ufocus. Detailed info on camera functionality can be found in your user's guide. Here's some helpful info on the various camera settings, camera modes and flash settings:

 

Camera Settings

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Camera.
    Note If unavailable, swipe down on the Apps menu and tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located in the upper left) then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  3. Tap Menu Menu icon(located in the upper left) then select from the following:
    • Auto icon Auto icon
      Note Allows you to choose from the following camera scenes when taking photos/videos:
      • Auto Auto icon
      • Night Night icon
      • HDR HDR icon
      • Sweep panorama Sweep panorama icon
      • Anti-shake Anti-shake icon
      • Manual Manual mode icon
      • Portrait Portrait mode icon
      • Landscape Landscape mode icon
      • Backlight Backlight mode icon
      • Text Text mode icon
      • Macro Macro mode icon
    • ISO icon ISO icon
      Note A higher ISO setting works best in low light conditions.
      Note Choose from the following settings to adjust the amount of time the lens stays open:
      • Auto
      • 200
      • 400
      • 800
      • 1600
    • Exposure icon Exposure icon
      Note Higher exposure settings capture more light for photos/videos.
      Note Choose from the following exposure settings:
      • -2
      • -1.5
      • -1
      • -0.5
      • +0

    • White Balance icon White Balance icon
      Note Choose from the following white balance settings to match your current lighting environment:
      • Auto Auto Balance icon

      Note Apply the following filters to your photos/videos:

    • Customize icon Customize icon (modify the following basic/advanced camera settings):
      • Image adjustments
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        Note Utilize the + (plus) and - (minus) icons to adjust the desired options.
        • Contrast
        • Saturation
        • Sharpness
      • Crop
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        • Wide (16:9)
        • Regular (4:3)
        • Square (1:1)
      • Grid
        Note Enabled (On) when a check mark is present
        • On
        • Off
      • Geo-tag photos
        Note Enabled (On) when a check mark is present.
      • Review duration
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        • No review
        • 5 seconds
        • 10 seconds
        • No limit
      • Self-timer
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        • On
        • Off
      • Storage
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        • SD Card
        • Phone storage
      • Continuous shooting
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        Note Enabled (On) when a check mark is present.
        • Continuous shooting
        • Limit to 20 frames
        • Auto review
      • Camera options
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select from the following options:
        Note Enabled (On) when a check mark is present.
        • Auto smile capture
        • Touch to capture
        • Shutter sound
      • Volume button options
        Note Tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located on the right) to select one of the following options:
        • Volume
        • Capture
        • Zoom
      • Save custom camera
      • Tips & Help
      • Reset to default
        Note Resets camera to default settings.

Camera Modes

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Camera.
    Note If unavailable, swipe down on the Apps menu and tap the dropdown menu Applications dropdown menu icon (located in the upper left) then tap Alphabetical. If still unavailable, refer to Manage App Icons.
  3. Tap Change Camera icon Change Camera icon (located at the bottom left) then select from the following:
    • Selfie Selfie icon
    • Camera Camera icon
