Email Account Password and Server Settings - Brigadier™ by Kyocera

To configure personal email server settings (e.g., password, Exchange server, etc.), follow these steps.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings.
  2. From the Personal section, tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Email.
  4. Tap Account settings.
  5. From the "General" section, tap the appropriate email address.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  6. If available, tap Password and enter the password then tap OK.
  7. From the SERVER SETTINGS section, tap Incoming settings (if available).
  8. Edit any of the following then tap Done (located at the bottom; may require scrolling):
    Note The available settings may vary depending upon the email account type.
    • Username
    • Password
    • POP3/IMAP server
      Note If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses. Contact your email provider if additional assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
    • Port
    • Security type
    • Delete email from server
  9. Tap Outgoing settings (if available).
  10. Edit any of the following then tap Done (located at the bottom; may require scrolling):
    Note The available settings may vary depending upon the email account type.
    • SMTP server
    • Port
    • Security type
    • Require sign-in
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
      Note If applicable, ensure the appropriate username and password are entered.
