View Home Screen Panels - Samsung Galaxy Tab® 4 (8.0)

Note Home screen panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts, and widgets.

View Panels

From a Home screen, swipe the screen left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
Note By default, there are 5 Home screen panels; however, additional panels can be added.

Add Panels

Note The ability to add panels is only available when less than 7 panels exist.

  1. Press and hold a blank spot on the Home screen.
  2. Swipe the screen left until the Add icon + appears on a blank panel
  3. Tap the Add icon.

Remove Panels

  1. Pinch fingers together on Home screen.
  2. Tap and hold a panel.
  3. Drag the panel onto Delete Remove icon (located at the top) then release.

Set Default Panel

Note The default panel appears when the Home icon is tapped.

  1. Pinch fingers together on Home screen.
  2. Tap the Home icon Default Home page button icon (located at the top of the preferred panel).
