Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network - BlackBerry® Z10

Note Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network administrator for assistance.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
    Note If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
  2. Tap Network and Connections.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Ensure that the Wi-Fi switch (located in the upper-right) is turned on On switch icon.
  5. Tap Add (located at the bottom).
  6. From the SSID field, enter the appropriate name.
  7. If applicable, tap Hidden SSID.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  8. From the Security Type field, tap the Dropdown menu.
  9. Select the appropriate security option:
    • Open
    • WEP
    • WPA/WPA2 Personal
    • WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
  10. If applicable, enter the appropriate password into the password field.
    Note To view the password as it is being entered, tap Show password (eye icon located on the right).
  11. If applicable, ensure that additional settings (e.g., VPN Profiles, Band Type, Auto Obtain IP, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap Connect (located in the upper-right).
