This feature manages payment apps. The Tap & pay option does not apply to Android Beam and won't include certain apps such as money transfer apps.
When NFC is turned on, you can use the tap & pay feature to pay for items just by touching your phone to a reader at a checkout register. If your device does not have a payment app, you can browse Google Play for payment apps.
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Play Store.
From the Play Store home screen, tap Apps.
Swipe left or right to sort by the following:
Top New Paid
Top New Free
If applicable, tap a category (e.g. Games, Business, Comics, etc.).
Tap an app.
If there is a charge for the app, tap the price (e.g., $1.99).
Tap Accept to continue.
If a payment method is required for purchase but has not been established, tap Continue then follow the remaining steps to set up your preferred payment option (e.g. Add credit or debit card, Enable Verizon Wireless billing, Redeem, etc.).
Review the required app permissions. If they are not acceptable, tap Back to exit.
To launch the app, tap Open.
To exit without launching the app, tap the Home icon (located at the bottom).
