Remove a Personal Email Account - The new Moto X™

Removing then re-adding your email often fixes login and not receiving email issues.

  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Settings Settings icon.
  3. From the Personal section, tap Accounts Accounts icon.
  4. Tap Email Email icon.
  5. From the Accounts section, tap the appropriate email address.
    Note Multiple accounts may appear.
  6. Tap Menu Menu icon (located in the upper right).
  7. Tap Remove account.
  8. From the "Remove account?" prompt, tap Remove account to confirm.
