Reset App - Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5

If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.

Note Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon > Applications (Device section).
  2. Tap Application manager.
  3. Locate then tap the appropriate app.
    Note If system apps aren't visible, navigate: Menu icon Menu (located in the upper-right) > Show system apps then tap the appropriate app.
  4. Tap FORCE STOP.
  5. Tap FORCE STOP to confirm.
  6. Tap Storage.
  7. Tap CLEAR DATA.
    Note This option may not be available for some apps.
    Note Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
    Note If Verizon Messages is reset, the tablet needs to be re-paired to the smartphone it is associated with.
  8. Tap DELETE to confirm.
