View Device Screen on TV - Samsung Galaxy Tab® S 10.5

Note Notes: 

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established. Refer to the following for assistance:
  • To play or copy media to / from other devices (e.g., computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the user manual or contact the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
  • To view your smartphone's screen via an external display, a compatible HDTV or a Wireless Display adapter (e.g., Chromecast™) is required. A Wireless Display adapter can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.
  • For assistance with setting up a Google® Chromecast™ device, refer to this page.
  • Some apps (e.g., YouTube™, Netflix®, etc.) support displaying the app contents on a remote display. Within the app, tap the Cast icon Cast icon then select the desired display from the list.

Share Your Screen

  1. From a Home screen (on your device), navigate: the Apps icon Apps icon > Settings.
  2. From the Wireless and networks section, tap More networks.
  3. From the Media share section, tap Screen mirroring.
  4. Select the desired external display from the list.
  5. When connected, the device's screen is displayed on the TV.

Share Pictures and Videos

  1. From a Home screen, tap the Apps icon Apps icon (located in the lower-right).
  2. Tap Gallery Gallery icon.
  3. If necessary, choose the appropriate album or navigate to the image/video location.
  4. Select a picture or video to view.
  5. Tap the Share icon Share icon (upper-right).
    Note If necessary, tap the screen to display the options.
  6. Tap Share to device.
  7. Select the desired external display from the list.
