Turn Share Media On / Off (DLNA) - Samsung Galaxy Tab® S 10.5

Note Notes:

  • To share media files, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established.
  • To play or copy media to or from other devices (e.g. computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the equipment manufacturer for assistance.

 

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings.
  2. From the Wireless and networks section, tap More networks.
  3. From the Media share section, tap the Nearby devices switch to turn on On indicator or off Off indicator.
  4. Tap Nearby devices.
  5. From the Advanced section, tap Content to share to enable/disable the following content to share then tap OK:
    • Videos
    • Photos
    • Music
      Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  6. Tap Allowed devices.
  7. Tap Blocked devices.
  8. Tap Download to then select one of the following:
    • Device
    • SD card
  9. Tap Receive files from other device then select one of the following:
    • Always accept
    • Always ask
    • Always reject
  10. If presented with a Nearby devices file sharing warning screen, tap OK.
