View Home Screen Panels - Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5

Note Home screen panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.

View Panels

View Panels

From a Home screen, swipe the screen left or right to navigate to the extended Home screen panels.
Note By default, there are five Home screen panels, however additional panels can be added.

Add Panels

Note The ability to add panels is only available when less than 7 panels exist.

  1. Pinch fingers together on a Home screen to reveal panels.
  2. Tap the Plus symbol + to add a panel.
    Note May require swiping screen to the left.

Remove Panels

  1. Pinch fingers together on a Home screen to reveal panels. 
  2. Swipe the screen left or right to reveal the applicable panel.
  3. Touch and hold the panel then drag the panel onto Delete Remove icon (located at the top) then release.
  4. Tap OK.

Set Default Panel

Note The default panel appears when the Home icon is tapped.

  1. Pinch fingers together on Home screen to reveal panels.
  2. Tap the Home icon Default Home page button icon (located at the top of the preferred panel).
    Note 'Default Home screen has been changed.' appears at the bottom of screen.
