View Battery Status - HTC Desire 612

Note Apps and processes are listed from highest to lowest percentage of power consumption. Review any high or unusual battery drain.


  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. Tap Settings.
    Note If necessary, from the Apps menu (located toward the left) tap Custom.
  3. Tap Power.
  4. Review the current battery status (located in the upper left).
    Not charging
    Device is not connected to a power source.
    Charging (AC)
    Device is connect to the AC power adapter. Charges device at a standard rate (preferred).
    Charging (USB)
    Device is connected to a USB charging port. Charges at a lower rate.
  5. Tap Battery usage.
  6. From the All Time tab, review the usage details (e.g., Android OS, Wi-Fi, etc.).
  7. Tap History to view the following:
    • Battery usage line graph
      • Displays basic battery status since the last full charge.
    • Mobile network signal
      Note Signal strength affects battery life.
      Green Very good signal
      Gray Good signal
      Gold Poor to moderate signal
      Yellow No Signal
      Red Scanning for signal
      Black Radio is off
    • Wi-Fi, Awake, Screen on and Charging
      Wi-Fi radio is on/off.
      Running tasks/apps (screen may not be on)
      Screen on
      Screen is visible (not in standby)
      Indicates when the device is being charged
      Note Shows periods of partial charging since the last complete charge.
      Blue On
      Black Off
