Factory Data Reset (Powered On) - Samsung Galaxy Gear S®

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution Performing a factory data reset removes all data from the device. Only perform a reset if absolutely necessary.

Note An alternate reset method is available if the device can not be powered on and is unresponsive.

  1. From an active Home screen, swipe the screen up.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Reset Gear.
  4. Tap OK.
