Factory Data Reset (Powered Off) - Motorola XOOM™ 4G LTE

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, keypad/touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls, and device won't sync.

Caution Perform a factory data reset only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including:

  • Google account
  • System and app data

  2. When the Motorola logo appears, wait 2 seconds then press and hold the Volume down button.

  4. When the Android recovery screen (Android with exclamation point in a yellow triangle) appears, press and hold the Power button.
  5. While holding the Power button, press the Volume up button.
  6. Press the Volume down button to select wipe date / factory reset.
  7. Press the Power button.
